2015 Central Illinois Season Preview

The Central Illinois Saints open their season this Saturday!  This will be our 4th trip to this facility.  Greenville is always our fiercest competitors on the field and we are looking forward to a fun day of softball and ministry!  Please pray for the men there and pray for myself and Darrell Pine as we will be sharing the Gospel and for Ben Morrow and Tyler Morrow as they will be sharing their personal testimony of how God has worked in their lives.

Praises
  • I am thankful for an incredible March Crusade and for the 64 men who made professions of faith and for the opportunity to hand out 898 Gospels of John to four different prison populations!
  • I am thankful for the financial support and for all of the prayer partners.  Several new folks have jumped on board and are praying for our team this season!
  • I am thankful for all of the encouragement and support from my family.  It has been fun to share the stories with the boys and to teach them to use something they are passionate about to spread the Gospel!
  • I have had the opportunity to meet with a man who was released from Danville CC late last year.  His name is Keith and he is taking steps to get work and live for God outside of prison.
Prayer Requests
  • Please pray for our upcoming visit to Greenville!
    • Pray for the salvation of the inmates
    • Pray for safety as we travel
    • Pray for the safety of our families at home
    • Pray for the speakers who will be sharing the Gospel
  • Please pray that more Illinois and Midwest prisons will open their doors and allow us to come in and share our ministry
  • Please pray for Keith (from Danville).  He needs prayer for continued growth and for his transition back into a life outside of prison.
