About Me

Hi, I’m Tom Gibson.  I am a volunteer with the Saints Prison Ministry(www.saintsprisonministry.org).  I have been serving with the Saints since 2011.

The Saints Prison Ministry is a non-profit organization that seeks to reach inmates with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  The Saints play inmate teams in softball, basketball, soccer and women’s volleyball, then present the Gospel of Jesus Christ to them right on the playing field.  The mission of The Saints is to present the Gospel to prisoners through athletics and to provide them with opportunities for spiritual growth.

I am the coach of the Central Illinois Saints softball team.  We are currently in our 6th year of existence and have had the opportunity to share the Gospel in several prisons across the Midwest.

I have been married to my wife, Kelly for 16 years and we have 3 sons.  We are members of Calvary Baptist Bible Church in Peoria, Illinois where Kelly participates in the church choir and is a Sunday School teacher.  I have served in and coordinated activities such as the annual Turkey Bowl outreach and Flag Football Camp.

I currently work as an Industrial Electrician in Pekin, Illinois and enjoy running, spending time with my family, and cheering for the Cubs, Bears, Bulls, and Blackhawks!
